NJAS in the Schools

NJAS environment-based education programs reflect New Jersey's Department of Education Core Curriculum Content StandardsTalk to any of our teacher/naturalists to find out how the standards are addressed through our school-based programming.

New Jersey Audubon Society offers naturalist-led field trips on-site (at an NJAS center) and off-site (at the site of a teacher's choosing). Teacher/naturalists will come also to the school to do small group presentations in the classroom and some centers offer assembly programs. All programs are fee-based which go back to support NJAS programs and staff in environmental education.

Click on the Center for more specific information about their programs.
